This summer, OCPN has been hard at work preparing for a new cohort of church planters. Our team carefully reviewed and selected candidates for the Finishing Residency beginning in September 2026, and we are grateful to share that six planters are confirmed and ready to begin.
Behind the scenes, our staff has been developing the curriculum and coordinating speakers for each session throughout the residency season. We are thankful for the partner churches and supporters whose faithfulness makes this work possible.

Foundational Residency — Applications Open
Are you sensing a call to church planting, but still figuring out what that looks like? Do you know someone in ministry who might be asking the same questions? The OCPN Foundational Residency is designed for exactly that person.
What is the Foundational Residency? The Foundational Residency is OCPN's entry-point training program for those discerning a call to church planting. Participants are introduced to core church planting competencies, grow in awareness of their gifts and calling, and join a community of friends on mission, learning alongside other planters in the greater Orlando region.
Who should apply? This residency is open to ministry leaders, active church members, and anyone discerning a potential call to plant. If God is stirring a vision in you, or someone you know, to plant a gospel-centered church in Central Florida, this is the right place to start. No church plant has to go it alone.

Vision To see Central Florida saturated with the gospel.
A vision is what we keep our eyes on. For OCPN, it's the horizon… the city and region where every man, woman, and child has repeated opportunities to hear, see, and respond to the gospel.
Mission Forming leaders that multiply healthy churches across Central Florida.
A mission is how we move. Healthy leaders plant healthy churches, and healthy churches are how the gospel saturates the city. OCPN's work is leader formation, because that's where it starts.
Core Values
01 — COLLABORATIVE
Working together on a shared mission. We embrace shared ownership, resources, and outcomes. OCPN is the connective tissue — it gathers, equips, and convenes. Every partner in the network owns the mission. No church plant has to go it alone.
02 — FORMATION
Shaping leaders, not just training them. The essential thing OCPN does is form leaders. Healthy churches start with healthy leaders. Residencies, gatherings, cohorts — each is a deliberate environment for formation. Discipleship is greater than information.
03 — DEPENDABLE
Faithful for the long haul. The cohort doesn't end when the cohort ends. Planters are partnered with through the residency, into the plant, and across the years that follow. A long obedience in the same direction — that's the test of a network.
Read in order, the values build a sentence about how OCPN works: Collaborative — so that no one does ministry alone. Formation — so that we're shaping the leaders who plant the churches. Dependable — so that it lasts longer than us.
